Controlling the Effects of Hot Flashes

In ages 45- 55 women begin to undergone a natural body process which is menopause. Menopause is primarily the result of hormone imbalance in woman’s body leading to various symptoms like hot flashes. In this period the estrogen production is dramatically reduced. Estrogen is a female hormone which regulates body temperature, and with imbalance of estrogen the body’s temperature will be confused causing hot flashes, night sweats and chills. Hot flashes are the sudden increase in body temperature rendering the sufferer feeling extremely warm. The body will naturally try to disperse the heat; the heart starts to palpitate much faster, causing blood to circulate through the veins in an effort to radiate heat the away.
