Nintendo GameCube Games from the 2000s That Are Still Fun to Play

You will be forgiven if you haven’t played or heard of any GameCube games because they’re highly underrated. These games from Nintendo have not enjoyed much of the limelight like the rest but they’re worth checking out. However, it is hard to miss GameCube’s games such as Super Smash bros. Although the games are largely forgotten, they’re still available in the market, in case you want to have a feel. Games from the 2000s are particularly thrilling and that is why we are going to highlight a couple of them.

Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 comes first on our list because it was not only popular, but it also had an amazing character twist. The evil lot kept becoming sinister thus making it hard to rescue the president’s daughter. The player also has a hard time killing hordes of zombies that are threatening to devour him. If you want to succeed in your mission, then you have to improve your maneuverability as well as shooting skills. Resident Evil 4 is undoubtedly worth spending your leisure time playing.

Nicktoons Unite!

If you’re familiar with the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants, then you know what Nicktoons is all about. It is one of the best adventure series with highly rated characters. Additionally, Nicktoons was well-directed, something that has facilitated enough gameplay to many characters. The game’s graphics were also quite impressive, with beautiful landscapes and environments.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures

This was one of the most complex yet exciting games from GameCube. Comprised of four distinct worlds with separate levels, Four Swords Adventure can only be compared with the legendary Four Swords Cooperative Mode. Most importantly, the game has stood the test of time to become independent despite the huge competition from the likes of ‘Best Zebra Games’. You will find it hard to stop it once you start playing it.

Disney’s Party

Disney’s Party is one of the best multiplayer games of the 2000s. Unlike many other cartoon games, this one mirrors an actual story which only serves to make it more interesting. However, the game may prove a bit difficult to master because of some characters such as Billy. These characters were a bit difficult to play with the likes of Mickey Mouse but you can always pick the rhythm as you continue playing.

Ikaruga

If you’re looking for some crazy shooting games, then Ikaruga is the game for you. All you need to go to the top is good aiming of the missiles and homing laser. Ikaruga does not only boast of over-the-top graphics but also a user-friendly gaming experience. However, the game might not be easy for everyone but you can always learn every step with some patience.

The Italian Job

Are you an aspiring racer wanting to learn a skill or two? Or do you just want to take a stroll on a multilane highway? Well, this game gives you all that in a well-wrapped package. The Italian Job may not beat the likes of Grand Theft Auto but it can boast breathtaking landscapes, car collections, beautiful cities, and more. It is one of the best games on GameCube you should consider trying out.

Viewtiful Joe

Last but not least on our list is this 2003 adventure game. Viewtiful Joe revolves around a young man whose quest to save the world pits him against dangerous villains. If you’re a fan of comic books, then this game is just the perfect recipe for thrilling your mind. Its comic style allows it to apply great graphics that will take away your breath. Viewtiful Joe’s production was halted unexpectedly but you can still land on the original, though after tilling hard.

Overall

There is something about old GameCube games that makes one want to go back for more. It is probably because of the art style and complexity of characters that makes it interesting. There is also the aspect of realism that makes the game come to life, literally. We need to thank Nintendo for continually providing us with great games that will forever remain in our minds. Grab either one of these GameCube games and be sure to remain glued to your screen for the better part of the day.
